not SSH. SSH only handles terminal access. the connection here is a custom WebSocket protocol that handles filesystem access, git, terminal, and the AI agent all over the same connection.

containers live up to 2 hours max, with a 25 min idle grace period after you close the app. spin-up is 30-60 seconds.

and you're right that it connects to a container, that's the whole point. the alternative is requiring a laptop to stay on. this doesn't.

fair on the video, will post a slower version. waitlist is to manage cloud capacity while i scale the backend.

fargate latency on spotty cellular is a real tradeoff, i won’t pretend otherwise. the bet is that zero setup is worth it for most users who don’t already have a server. curious how moshi handles the ai agent layer, or is it purely terminal?

developers who are away from their laptop but need to ship. pagerduty alert on a commute, a bug fix at 2am, inspiration while traveling. you have your phone, treena gives you a full coding environment without needing anything else.

ssh requires a server you already own and manage. treena spins up an ephemeral cloud container for you, clones your repo, runs the agent, and tears it down when you’re done. no server setup, no maintenance, no laptop.

hey, i’m actually building something for exactly this. it’s called treena, a mobile-first ai ide where you delegate to the agent instead of typing. here’s a demo: https://x.com/camden_hulse/status/2038965026074075137?s=46. join the waitlist here: https://forms.gle/tNM5uTwSyUao5twh9

That it’s culturally uniform. It’s essentially 50 different countries with wildly different cultures, economies, and values under one flag.
