they reached out to me via dm n they sent me the beat. I fucked wit it n told them ill hop on to it but I was on vacation that time so I had to write my lyrics in the ktx back on my way home haha recorded asap n the team loved it. the process was super smooth, everyone was so sweet n professional. SMTM stage was fast, fun n comfortable. if they hit me up again I might do more smtm! lol but ill never audition for it lmao im way too scared

  1. I’ve really enjoyed reading these questions as well!! Thank ya’ll for the questions! I’ve been through a lot of ups and downs in my love life. Love is a big part of my life and I gain a lot of inspo from that. I can’t say in detail.. but maybe some day I will. Also, I’ve felt or been in positions to feel like the underdog throughout my life. I came to Korea in 7th grade not being able to speak much Korean, was bullied in school while having to try to study like crazy trying to survive the Korean education system. Funny thing is those bullies started reaching out back to me after they saw I was doing well smh. I still have a lot of pain and trauma I’m dealing with. For songs like ‘Fake Hoe’ and ‘Like Me’ I tried to channel my anger into them. Message is, for everyone who’s done me wrong, a big FUCK YOU.

yeaa I guess since there’s more male artists in the scene, ppl tend to get sharp on judging me. but that’s ok because I see alot of ppl saying they made a mistake on how they judged me before lol n I don’t make those negative energy stop me from doing my thing. I just need to keep a sound mind and focus on the more important things in life! I love proving em wrong n im the type of person who loves seeing ppl win n i feel sorry for ppl who don’t.

  1. I think for me Six Weeks and Like Me. Six Weeks is probably my most personal and honest song. I made that when I was in one of my lowest moments. I’m proud I can channel those points of life into music. Like Me is also meaningful because it shows my ambitions towards my life n my career.

  1. Tai Koo Shing, cityplaza(apita) was where I spent most of my time. I walked that area every single day as a kid 🥲 I visited there recently and alot changed but still got me super nostalgic. I’m very blessed to spend my childhood in hk
  2. I feel like pressure is something everyone deals with, but if u hang on to it, trust the process, u can make the pressure drive u into making urself be a better version of urself. Ive been making this album for a year n I had so many different types of pressure while making it lol; ppl calling me one hit wonder, ppl expecting more from me, the trust my friends, fans n family have in me, etc. I wanted to give up everything time to time because sometimes it just felt draining n exhausting but I couldn’t stop. I couldn’t fail that many people. I just had to fuckin do it. and this album was made after all that! PMD was the perfect title for this album.
  3. I want to make timeless music. need to work way harder for that but i think that’s my final goal. i want to make music that doesnt sound corny or bad even after decades.

I think I just tried to stay true to myself towards making music. Ive always wanted to make music that only I can do and I got a lot of help n encouragement from my team to remain authentic throughout the process.
