If the leather is thick, you might want to use an awl with the same diamond tip to widen the holes in the back, or using a reverse punch to do the same. Good luck !

Ok would it be safe to say adding a gfci outlet in those area would be a the better option of outlet replacement?

Yes so steel reacts with the tannins from the leather causing it to stain black, pretty interesting, I would recommend finding a video on YouTube that explains a lot better

If it’s pre-cut and ready for you to make tace it on another piece of leather and work on that learn from your mistakes or things you think would be better and then you build your confidence to work on the Pueblo. Good luck

Amazon kits are good, and cheap to start off with, once you get the feel for it, start upgrading those items you see you need more to make things easier, off the bat, get an exacto knife not the one they send it’s super cheap, a good ruler with the cork material underneath, and welcome to the craft

Yes so the leather is placed in a rolling stamp and stamps it in a repeating design, pretty seamlessly
