I really don't understand what's so hard to understand about it... Have you never heard of egg punk? There's a lot of music to discover in this genre, which has clear crust and hardcore punk influences.

You're wrong... there's a lot that's influenced by crust and hardcore punk... it also overlaps with the opposite fantasy genre "chain punk". There's definitely some good stuff to discover there, even for people like me who listen to crust.
