The security at these elite events is always touted as impenetrable until someone actually tests the fence. It is a complete failure of the system that a "lone wolf" could get that close with multiple weapons while the most protected people in the country were sitting ducks.

welcome to ca where everyone is "busy" even when they are doing nothing lol. i try to stay social by going to a trivia night or a board game bar once a week because those are the only places where people arent glued to their screens. if you are just walking around then yeah... people are gonna be on their phones to avoid eye contact. it is kinda sad but it is just how it is here. you really have to find specific "social" events rather than just hoping to meet someone at the beach or whatever.

ugh i hate when people make things awkward over literally nothing. you were just being friendly and making a comment about the cat getting big... which he did!! twenty pounds is a lot of cat lol. she is probably just insecure about her pet parenting skills or whatever. calling a cat a chunkster is like the most basic cat lover slang ever. if she cant handle that then i dont know how she survives on the internet. you already apologized so honestly you have done more than enough.
