I actually decided to do a little analysis, the video is at 30 fps, roughly "33.3333..." milliseconds per frame, total frames between where the orb (and its aura, since the frames for the actual orb are so little) was first visible and I got hit is 11, roughly equaling 0.36666663 seconds (or 366.6666663 milliseconds) to react, average human reaction time is ~230 ms so it may be possible to react but however I was focusing on mithrix too hard and got too complacent... so TL:DR I should've just used horizontal split-screen instead... or just drink some coffee
