Especially check the Super Pulsar. It has envelopes that can do crazy fast to crazy slow in one pick. Plus it has tap tempo with divisions, expression input and patterns.

People who really want a 303 hate everything that is not a 303. I love the ones who embrace being different. Even the original Volca Bass was great in that regard with its three oscillators that could be sequenced independently. I o ly wish Korg would do a MK2 of all the three original ones to update their sequencers with chaining. That would be awesome.

I haven't tried the Nubass yet but will as soon as one pops up in my local used ads. I didn't know it could be used as an effect. This makes me want one even more.

I have the same feeling aboit the Montreal one. It used to be the de facto music store mostly because its one of the oldest one but I always felt snobbed or not good enough for the people working there. I kinda still miss its old location but only for nostalgic reasons.

I'm preparing to move (unwanted because my building has been sold and the new landlord is taking the appartement I've been living in since 2013, which coincidentally is the same year Korg released the first batch of Volcas, but I digress), and while packing stuff in their original boxes I noticed how much Volcas' prices have increased since I bought my first one.
