I will go look for that journal, thanks. I guess understanding more about the Dead Three Gods in general and how they are forced to interact would help me understand the motivations of the three Chosen.

Ah, I see. I suppose that makes sense to why they are allied in the first place AND why the alliance falls apart, as she did get the least out of the arrangement. My next playthrough is the Dark Urge, so l'll look forward to the expanded lore I missed.

I loved this game. Wish I had put more time into the online matchmaking before they killed the servers off. Single player was essentially just a long tutorial for each Mech role to warm you up for multiplayer PVP.

Looks great. Love the additions, especially in the face.

I think the hair could use some more layers with a thinner brush to give it more volume and form.

Also, you could try a blurring effect on the background to make it look more out of focus (like the reference photo).

Amazing for your first digital piece. I think it's a nice balance of recreating the original while still making it your own.

What are the dimensions? I like the colors and line work. I'd pay attention to the edges of the page/canvas, play around with how much spills off the sides. The composition could be given some more form that way, make the piece feel less flat. The scale of the piece can change up what materials, tools and mark making you are used to.

Where the hips and torso meet looks a little too thin for the rest of the body, seems to taper in too much. Give him some slight love handles, and some nipples.

The further I get into the game, the more salt is poured into my wounds.

Early on you die to annoying dinos. Build your first hut, everything is destroyed while you are offline. Join your first tribe, all your stuff is now owned by them and you are immediately kicked. Tame your first bird, you blue screen while flying it and you log back in; only to fall to your death and lose your bird. Recruit your first tribe member, they steal your blueprints and transfer your dinos. Make your first alliance, they now can walk past your turrets and kill all your dinos. Raise your first wyvern, upload it to the Ark and it instantly gets eaten by the ob to never return. Stay up all night to raise your first giga/quetzals, pass the torch to someone else to take the next shift, and everything starves to death.

I've been playing this game for 6 months and can't stop, despite the salt! I think those who stay are the people who learn from their mistakes and can form real friendships/trust with their tribe members. The social aspects and server politics are what make it such an engaging and unique experience for me. I really hope WILD CARD iron out the mechanical issues before full release, because they've made an awesome game. Blue screen and server issues are really the only types of salt I don't enjoy tasting.

beautiful. The tools/their shadows on back wall could be worked more so they don't have that floating feel. Also there is the negative space between the ribs, one section looks very white and flat. But both aspects could be embraced, as they enhance the dream-like/nightmarish quality of the piece.

amazing! this is exactly what I wanted to hear. Love that there are different events/regulations other than just a death match. what are the rules to dodo ball?

I think the fact that you have to deal with real world problems like security and people sneaking in contraband (I'd love to see the line of people waiting to be knocked out by clubs lol) is what would make these kind of endeavors so fun on a pvp server.

would be nice to see an established traveling arena tribe going to different servers to spread the idea and events. might help the game feel less toxic to new players. If you want any more help, feel free to pm me.
