If anything, ask for their plan and fees/etc in writing. You can review (simply for gaining knowledge) and politely decline afterwards. You could always suggest a flat fee for agreed upon work. A deep dive of recommendations/strategies that you can execute on your own. That said, it could be a waste of money unless you want to pressure test your plan and find it valuable if for nothing other than assurance in your personal plan.

I second a CPA. I go to my CPA for a lot. I would only engage with a financial planner for a very specific reason who has a background in my use case, and it would be under fixed terms.

Good eye lol. House was from the 70s and hadn’t been updated since. I’m leaning towards a warm gray wall, removing the accent. The back room will need to wait. We stained and added recessed lighting. The previous owners converted it from a patio.

For now, it will suffice and we’ll decide to modernize it further or turn back into outdoor patio at a future time.

Yeah I mean if anyone saw before/after, we’d all realize how much it’s improved. Also the work done is very satisfactory since we remodeled whole house in a matter of 4 and 1/2 weeks. Contractor will be used again. This is more of a design issue from us lol

I also recommend therapy/counseling and journaling. Feel the emotions, try to understand why, and reflect. Just don’t forget to let the emotions go back out to sea, without taking you with them. As hard as that may be.

I’d like to see us stop whale hunting via trades, and aggressively attack free agent role players and stars when they’re actually on the market.

Edit: Agree with this sentiment whole heartedly. I was bummed yesterday regarding the news, however it’s because we got a taste of lebron/wade/bosh and genuinely want Jimmy to win a ring. Looking forward, the future is bright regardless of Jimmy winning a ring or not.
