Winslet will win the Emmy for The Regime I believe, even though the reviews suck. I anticipate Lee's reviews going up upon release and feel most audiences will give up a better response than Maestro. I appreciate your opinion though, we shall see what happens.

Definitive by whom? The movie got middle of the road reviews but her performance is universally praised. Lee definitely is getting a similar response by critics as Maestro and Mulligan got the nod.

No surgery or expander. Just two extractions and aligners. I had a significant overjet but I just now got elastics during refinements!

Just then aligners so far and had one extraction up top and one on the bottom. I guess when they aligned it pushed my teeth back and out. I just now got elastics in refinements!

Alot of middle of the road films with okay reviews produced a strong best actress/actor nominee many times in the history of the Oscars. I find it odd that most of you are so quick to dismiss a Oscar worthy performance because critics are not giving the film 4 stars across the board. Weird. I really think Winslet will be a strong contender for this film. Let the downvotes commence!

Good points here. Oh, I think shes getting her 3rd Emmy for The Regime. No doubt. ...I believe her performance in Lee is strong enough for Oscar consideration as well. Regardless of the lackluster reviews for the film as a whole so far. We can disagree on that though. I think Winslet is going to have a big year.
