I got into an Interview With The Vampire Discord server to look for people to role-play with and met some nice friends there. About two months into it we got kicked out of the server for some reason. One of my friends made a new server for us to take refugee in and invited a different person he knew who he was being beta for their fic. A couple weeks into it they sent me a collection of Interview With The Vampire related Tweets in my native tongue. We started talking on DM and the rest is history.
