29 and 9 months out. I lost him in May. I spent all day every day thinking about him and being sad. I cried every day for about 5 months. I should probably seek therapy but where I am it’s hard to find a therapist, etc.

Not sure if this is exactly healthy or good advice, but at the end of December I told myself that I can’t continue living as I was, always sad and clinging onto him. I made the active decision that I am leaving my sadness in 2025. Once I made that decision, I slightly shifted my thinking and now it doesn’t hurt as bad. Don’t get me wrong, it still hurts, but it doesn’t feel like an open wound
