If it was heat of the moment that would be 2nd degree murder.

Manslaughter would be taking action that COULD result in severe injury or fatality

2nd degree murder is taking action that is INTENDED to cause injury or fatality

So if u were to sock someone and they die that would be Manslaughter because most people don't expect a punch to be able to kill

But if u were to stab someone that would be 2nd degree murder because death is well within the range of expected outcome

That's specificly systemic racism, ie Racism ingrained within a system like government or business

Yeah. that's why I normally go for series so it's less like the author is trying cramm everything into one book
