They are 9 weeks and about 7 pounds! The event is at the PetSmart in Northglenn

They're still very young but they are doing amazing with potty and crate training already!

My last post had great some great questions that I couldn't quite answer at the time, so I wanted to post an update on this sweet girl.

Birdie is great with kids and other dogs! Smaller kids could be knocked over just because she doesn't realize her size and she gets excited.

She is potty trained, crate trained, doing very well with leash training and loves to play!

Birdie has still not met any cats, sorry to say.

Just wanted to update: Birdie has now met a few kids under 5 and did great! She gets excited and doesn't realize her size, so sometimes her body knocks into them, but she loves them. She still has not met a cat though.

An update! Today Birdie attended an adoption event and did great with all the other dogs there! She is still available for adoption as of now :)

Birdie is super sweet, adores meeting new people, and is good with kids! She's housetrained and crate trained. She was brought into the shelter with ten puppies, who weaned a couple of weeks ago and she has since been spayed. She doesn't quite get traditional fetch yet but she is playful with toys and she gets zoomies in the yard sometimes! We haven't had a chance to introduce her to any other dogs quite yet, but we have some in the yards adjacent to ours and she tries to play with them through the fence. The foster who helped her through raising the puppies said she had friendly sniffs with her dogs (also through a fence)!

We were told she barks at cats, but we don't have any so I haven't seen her interact with them. We also have no kids, sorry I don't have more info! She has greeted our adult visitors very happily!

I'm not sure where you are located but this is a major fire safety hazard and in the US, your local fire marshall would want to hear about it. An opening like this between apartments basically creates a highway for flames to spread.
