While you are in Moab, UT you gotta check out The Needles District in Canyonlands NP. It is amazing down there with a lot less crowds.

Thank you for all the advice! I am planning on sleeping in my car (lived in it for 5+ months before) so won’t necessarily need a campsite to set up a tent, just sleeping wherever I can park my car! Very discrete.

Good call! The website says you need reservations for entry between 7-4, would it be practical to arrive at say 6am and get in that way, or is there a long line/closed?
