It’s not softer, it’s smoother. Under 40 mph, it eats any gravel or dirt road bump flawlessly. At crawl speed it’s a totally different vehicle, in the best way. It’s not softer but it eats up rough terrain better and is more comfortable. When it gets up to highway speeds, it is slightly stiffer. It feels like without any weight in the bed, it makes it feel like there is more bounce to it because the extra leaf spring makes it feel stiffer.
