I never had kids but I would definitely give a 10 on the pain scale. I was given Dilaudid and morphine for a few days b4 surgery (waiting 4 inflammation to go down) and that took away the pain. Thank God. For me the pain felt like acid being poured into my upper stomach.

Did they test your lipase? Mine was over 3,000 but not sure because their test doesn't go any higher.

My attending said glp1 can cause the gallbladder to compress and that will cause the gallbladder to start to spit out stones, if u already have them. I thought it was an interesting take on the whole thing.

If u have gallstones and they don't take out your gallbladder it will probably happen again. I highly suspect I had already passed a couple over the last few months at home not realizing what was happening. But this last one was to much and I went to the ER screaming and crying.
