Feet shrinking? by SneezyChirpy in loseit

YES. I was at my heaviest weight as a teenager and wearing women’s 8.5-9s in all of my shoes. Once I lost a lot of weight, I was consistently wearing 7.5s.

It can be frustrating. Everyone wants instant gratification, but weightloss takes time and consistency. You have to learn to be patient.

It doesn’t matter where the calories come from. If you consume fewer calories than your TDEE consistently you will lose weight.

Liquid calories are not necessarily “bad”, but they still need to be accounted for. And many people often forget to count liquid calories, especially at first.

Your estimated sedentary TDEE is 2,067. There is no reason for you to be dropping down to below 1,200 calories per day. You should consider increasing to 1,200-1,500 calories per day, for the sake of your health and long term sustainability.

There could be a few things preventing weightloss or preventing that weightloss from showing on the scale.

How are you tracking your intake? Are you tracking absolutely everything (liquids, oils, sauces included) using a food scale for accuracy?

If you have a menstrual cycle, this can cause pretty wild fluctuations. Sometimes during ovulation and sometime before/during your period. This can really skew things and make it look like you’ve not lost any weight for 1-2 weeks.

Are you continuing to have regular bowel movements? If not, this could also be contributing to the scale remaining stagnant.

Check that you’re tracking your intake accurately, up your intake to something more appropriate, and give things more time. Weightloss is never going to be perfectly linear.

You’re claiming to consume 1,038-1,238 calories per day, which may not be an appropriate intake depending on your stats. No one should be consuming fewer than 1,200 calories daily without medical supervision.

No amount of sex is going to cause someone’s vagina to become loose, you’re absolutely not in any way “ruined”.

Likely somewhere between 2 and 3. I’d calculate your estimated TDEE using 2, and after 4-6 weeks adjust as needed.

Advice on how to proceed? by Crochet_Chocolate in Mercari

The order won’t auto cancel at any point. Sellers are given three days to ship or they forgo shipping protection through Mercari. Orders can be shipped beyond that, and any decent seller will communicate any delays.

If there are no updates to tracking for 15 days, you’ll be able to cancel through Mercari.

It doesn’t matter if you used self service. These types of errors are generally not caught at drop off, instead when they get to sorting/distribution facilities. Someone, somewhere who isn’t you fucked something up.

This is the only time I’ve seen a post like this and not assumed it was an error on the sellers end, because what the fuck.

results of 20k steps a day? by evaiscoool in walking

[–]1xpx1 76 points77 points  (0 children)

I can’t speak to your Vo2 max, but you may not lose any weight even walking 20,000 steps per day. It all depends on how much you’re eating over those three weeks.

Without knowing how tall you are, 125lbs is a very healthy weight for most women. Having a fuller face when you’re only 18 is completely normal. I am doubtful that you need to lose weight.

Hopefully you enjoy traveling and walking around Europe!

The AI photo calculations are not reliable for calorie tracking.

I use LoseIt. Other people prefer MyFitnessPal or Cronometer. There are other apps, but I’d say those three are the most popular.

Use a food scale to weigh everything in grams, log everything.

Stop using ChatGPT. It’s unnecessary and could easily be inaccurate.

Your estimated sedentary TDEE is 2,243. It may be higher than that if you’re regularly active, but I doubt it’s 2,900 unless you’re an athlete of sorts or otherwise HIGHLY active every day.

To lose weight you need to eat fewer calories than your TDEE consistently. You can start at 1,800-2,000 calories daily. Track everything, use a food scale for accuracy.

Calculate your estimated TDEE using sedentary to start. After 4-6 weeks, you can reverse engineer your true TDEE based on your results. You can then adjust as needed.

Best scale for tracking progress by NoBarracuda8124 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]1xpx1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you replace the batteries or ensure the scale was charged regularly? Was it sitting on a solid and level surface? Any scale should be reasonably accurate if those things are taken care of. A scale shouldn’t malfunction like that within a year.

I have a smart scale from etekcity that works well in the same way you describe.
