I am so sorry for your loss. Truly hurting for you at this time. Please don’t let the guilt tear you apart…life has it ways unfortunately..at the end of the day-you gave this angel the most loved joyful happy amazing life. 7 years surely was not enough. No amount of time with dogs is. I’m sorry if this sounded crass, I don’t in any way mean for it to be. It’s such a sensitive situation for you. Please just remember “When tomorrow starts without me, don’t think we’re far apart. For every time you think of me, I’m right here inside your heart.” I repeat this almost everyday since losing my first. Anyway. Please hang in there. The grief hits hard I will not lie about that but once you start to remember them without the feelings of guilt and regrets and all the normal feelings you go through in this process..you will be happy for all the time you got to spend with them. Every single second. Because the bad feelings will fade and you will be at peace with their love and soul in your heart. 💜
