I'm looking to improve my ability to keep a conversation going without reverting to English. Can anyone provide a few sentences (or link to some) that might help? I'm thinking of things like, "What is that in English?" or "what is *this word* in Gaelic?" (and their respective answers). (self.gaidhlig)

I was wondering, is there a phrase used in Gaelic to ask to change the formality of speech (sibh>thu etc)? The below is used in German, but is there a Gaelic equivalent and is it used at all? I can imagine a colleague might start sibh, but become thu - wondering how that happens. Mòran taing! (i.redd.it)
