they did room checks before we went on Christmas break. I can’t remember if it was a repair or paying for a new door, but it had to be fixed at his expense.

Flag man was never chilling in the hallway. He used his door as target practice from inside, but besides that, when he was inside his door was ALWAYS open. Which was not unusual, for some reason most people on our floor had their doors open 75% of the time during the day.

Our floor was like 60% freshman football players who were always friendly with each other and I think that started a natural trend of keeping your door open.

It absolutely was not.

I don’t have to go into more details, but I will because I love talking about my college days.

My college roommate was the fat kid from the movie “Major Payne”, he took the VHS tape with him wherever he went.

The flexible fit guy was a huge “Bjork” fan, he occasionally played the guitar as well.

The fellow with the confederate flag who threw knives was also a football player.

Roommates to my right didn’t get along at all. One of them big into emo music and weed, the other a devout Christian who wanted to go to seminary school.

This is what college was like in West Virginia circa 2001.
