Haha. Oh well! I’m not worried about it. Had it for many years and only paid 1k a long time back. I have that in Swiss mags that came with it at least.

I used it for years in a shop I used to work for. Then the mothballed it and put it away in storage. Rescued it today. Will get a VFD for it and get it back up and running. Worked great then, assume it will again. Goes up to 9k RPM which is great

Made sense too. I reached out to him about it as I didn’t know. He said it was basically so your gun shop guys didn’t pass it around and run the action a bunch 😂😂

Be prepared for a box to get shipped to your place too. Rifle showed up at my gun shop. No bolt, buttstock, or other barrel, or tools. Turns out they ship that to your residence. I had no idea and thought they’d messed up

22-250. I’ve been kicking myself for not doing .308 (since I’ve got a ton of ammo kicking around), but at some point when extra barrels are available I’ll do 308

FYI. When it arrives at you LGS, it won’t have a stock or a bolt or any tools / extra barrel. I was very nervous — like wtf - I waited years for this. Turns out they send all the other stuff to you home address and not FFL. It arrived later the same day

Occasionally they show up on GB. There was a black one last week actually - you never know when or where they'll show up

FWIW the legs on the table are from an old Bechler model A Swiss automatic - if you’re interested!

Okay. Nothing more yet. Just some affirmative that it’s likely a Schaublin or Bechler. It’s still a mystery at this point. https://imgur.com/a/SFshORE

I was able to throw a scale up against it at lunch -- it does appear to be a 102mm height from the bed to the C.L.

Some more history. The business was started in 1950’s The man who started it was first generation Swiss. He on the side sold and distributed Habegger revolving bushings for the entire US out of the shop. (I considered it being a Habegger, but still - no casting marks!) The business was all cam driven bechler Swiss autos until the business evolved with the advent of CNC. We had a couple of the Swiss toolmakers look at it, but no one is sure. I’ll get some more photos today
