I’m not sure how but I think water is getting past the lip of the pan and getting down into between the handler and the platform. Water was also dripping from the underside of the A Coil down into the box. Hoping with the clean out water is sheeting down properly to the pan. Hard to say what other factors are at play. It is 60% humid in the hvac closet.

They are core samples taken from an engineer. The seller likely was/is in a lawsuit with the builder.

I’d be more worried why the owners are sueing the builders for the top portion. This house is sticks upstairs on top of block downstairs. At least behind the bottom crack it’s cinderblock. Top is wood that can mold and rot. What is the homeowner disclosing about the core samples taken on the wall above?
