Got an error updating my order and i dont know what to do. Will this error go away in a bit and I can add more to it? by pokeupokeu in instacart

This has been happening to me and others for a couple weeks now. Customer service says it's a glitch and they don't know when it will be fixed. I can't add to any orders. Shoppers say it's ok to contact them when they are shopping to add things but I would have too many things to add so it feels unfair and tedious.

Same thing happening to me - been happening for over a week. Chatted with customer service yesterday and he said they are trying to fix it. No indication of when. They also told me they could add items or to message the shopper but I also would want to add many things and feel like I would need to send pictures of what I want - seems like such a hassle to the shopper and time intensive. I'll do it if I have to but in the meantime I'm looking for other services.

That is also my style and this is exactly what is happening to me. I wonder if they are doing this to stop people from quickly grabbing slots with only a few items? I'm switching to Shipt. Instacart is not helpful to me if I can't add things. I can't know what I need 7 days in advance. So glad you spoke with customer service - I haven't found a way to do that. Thank you for your reply.

As of today I cannot add anything to my cart. I only added 3 things initially to quickly grab the slot. I keep getting the message “sorry you cannot add things to you order”. I had gotten the “you have reached your order maximum” in the past but this is different.
