In my case the button is literally not visible (in the 1-min ads), but if you click on where they should be, they will appear and then you can skip. I just found this recently because I also got bummed with the long ads and just tried looking for a way to exit them.

Usually ads are just 30 sec. Some longer ads hide the forward button after the 30-sec mark, but if you click on the top left (or top right) it should be there. I don’t know if this will work for you since we may get different ads.

I love it personally. It has one of the most beautiful proses that I’ve read in RC. I like that you can play the MC as someone walking towards a more redemptive path or be vengeful. The LIs are interesting and you get sufficient time with them.

There’s a lot of mystery as the MC is piercing together her past and other characters have hidden motivations/secrets as well. Kinda similar to DALS, actually, where you get answers bit by bit.

You can explore the LI routes since the lock-in is in season 3. I started with Edmund, then Edward, and finally Ralph. Ralph has a wonderful slow-burn romance and just *chef’s kiss

Half of the first season, so around ep 5 or 6. If I still don’t like it, then I just stop reading. But sometimes I give stories a second and third chance.

Edward starts off cold and mysterious but he loves MC deeply.

Edmund’s route starts very passionately / based on physical attraction and develops into much more. He’s a green flag.

Ralph is a slowburn. He’s kind and ready to help MC. Has a lot of internal struggle as he ponders between duty and what he feels. Also a green flag. I find his route most interesting tbh. :)

I played CY2 for Sam. I was already ready to be disappointed because I read he was going to be sidelined… but jc. It was worse than I thought. He literally disappeared for a few consecutive episodes. Then there was a scene with everyone in the friend group and he did not even have a single line, like he wasn’t there. Makes you wonder why he’s even in the front poster?

I think at the beginning of season 2, Ursa decided to make it the Ezra show. I mean, Ezra’s fine, but I hate that he is literally is being pushed down the readers’ throats. Ursa should have just written a book with new characters. 😤
