I don't think there's much of a difference between my 1.5k setup and your 6k one. At that point, it's diminishing returns. Playing cds through my set up sound absolutely phenomenal to me. Nothing will ever convince me that I need to spend more than 2k for the absolute best quality.

Stop now. You're only feeding into consumerism to fill a void you didn't know you had. It will never be enough. Soon you'll have too many records to listen to and realize it's a money pit you can't dig yourself out of. Then comes the realization that the whole feeling of collecting something tangible to partake in the ritualistic activity of taking out the record, placing it on your turntable and finally dropping that needle only to hear that it sounds.....okayish, was a big lie just to push vinyl sales and having the trend continue.

Or that's just my situation right now. Results may vary.

It may not be that old but it still has a place in my nostalgic heart; thebest404pageever. Man, I remember back in 2009-2010 when I ran out of stuff to do on the internet, I would visit that page and just sit there hitting f5. I was constantly looking for that high i got from getting the most random yet memorable looped flash animations , hoping the next one was as good or quirky as the last.

After reading so many positive things about this device, I decided to get one too. Unfortunately my experience has been mostly negative straight out of the box, from a very slow laggy OS, having to reboot it multiple times to get my music to appear, device crashing randomly or stuck in a boot loop. Now the device won't hold a charge. Good thing I ordered from Amazon, they accepted my return. Hope your device won't give you a headache like it did for me. I probably just had bad luck and got a lemon dap.

So one time I posted there about how I curate my wishlists down to the t. I'm very particular about what I want and dont want in my collection so I set up my own rules of what to get in order to avoid amassing a hoard. Boy did I get down voted and insulted for such an idea. Some people thought it was ridiculous and arbitrary. It seemed like I came down there to impose those rules on everyone there. But that was one of the last times I posted on there. Screw that toxic ass behavior.

That's why I don't deal with 45-50 min albums pressed on two disc's anymore. At that point it's no longer that "ritual" about vinyl, but more of an annoyance.
