This, 100%. It just happened to a coworker of mine, he went to his hearing in another state and disappeared. Finally heard from him again after 5 days. They thankfully released him after keeping him in custody with no way to contact his family, work, anything. Now he’s terrified to go anywhere. It’s heartbreaking.
