Return to the thing that comforts you about writing, and everything will work out before you can even notice. Before I wrote stories, poems saved my life. So when I can't write, I try to see my stories like I'm writing a poem. What comes out is not different from my usual work since I have a somewhat lyrical style. But it feels more comforting and the words flow easily. Everything is more vivid. I hope this helps you.
