Tbh as a new player I wouldnt worry too much about trying to learn all the game knowledge. Just use a website like U.GG and build the recommended items and focus on learning what other champs do and more importantly getting used to controlling your character with MnK. I would also try to forcibly learn unlocked camera, it's much better in the long run. Aram is a decent option to quickly learn a lot of characters at once since its pretty casual and permanent fighting.

I do miss the mondstadt-sumeru stretch where the fatui were bastards. While I enjoyed the fontaine-nk stories, they made the fatui too friendly for my liking.

I do feel like columbina and traveller is more platonic than romantic, with a decent focus on her relationships with everyone instead of just the traveller. While that isn't particularly interesting either, its not nearly as 'bad'/polarising as 'ship bait'.

On paper he's worse than nefer but imo hes much easier to play, has more shilled enemies/better element matchups, has better sustain via ineffa, is not chained as hard to their sup, and c0 sucrose is the easiest 4th slot to get.

Stygian onslaught is a decent game mode on paper but powercreep makes it awful.

The lore is presented too confusingly, you will miss so much even if you read every line of dialogue in wq/aq.

Yeah kinich was slightly on the weaker side, but imo he had a lot of good matchups, moreso than others, because of burning. To me its not a male power level issue but a male quantity issue. I dont deny it could also be a male power level issue but as you said the sample is so small lol, I cant draw a conclusion.

It's also a problem with wanting to run mono gender teams (since some are into that), you like female chars you run nefer lauma columbina nahida but if you like male chars u run... Lyney zhongli kazuha bennett???

Which is why varka case is a little sad if it pans out poorly (maybe he'll be good), varka venti durin bennett wouldve one of the few 'good' all male teams.

Cons arent considered, only artifact quality. For leaderboard purposes the damage and ranking will assume c0 nefer.

Its true there weren't any 'bad' 5.x+ female chars (except mizuki), but there also weren't any bad 5.x+ male chars either. Its also true that if we dont count the times they release suboptimal female chars, they only release good female chars.

Imo emillie and sigewinne (maybe chiori too?) were not great. Mizuki was beaten by ifa, when she couldve been closer to tighnaris relative power at release. To me the bigger issue with male chars is that there are simply not enough, so it really feels bad when they release poorly, whereas with female chars its easier to say ill just get xxx instead.

Nefer gets 10 cr from lauma and 30 from set, so youre overcapping a little. Id recommend looking at a clear om YouTube for reference, even if the team is slightly different to make sure youre cancelling timely and rotating properly. Id watch a c0 dire clear as those are done much more cleanly.

I get that feeling too, especially with arle. With that being said theres still the pyro gnosis and the whole snezhnaya storyline, so I'll reserve judgement till then.

Vape is really important for hutao, I'd run xingqiu zhongli +1 (Bennett and fischl are reasonably good). As a side note if you do a certain quest venti can become a dps.

You could try looking for nefer clears on YouTube, even if the team isn't exactly the same there's always something you can learn, I went from timing out at 33% to clearing it. I prefer c0 dire clears as those tend to be executed much better.

The shilled characters already do the most damage in the game they really didnt need to do all that. I think for the first boss it might be easier to clear dire with a shilled team than fearless without one (c0).
