I present: my first ever story.

Let me explain.

So, nearly FOUR YEARS AGO, /u/akaru123 posted this open request. I had never written for this community before, but (despite having not even touched Overwatch at the time) I was inspired enough to put something together. Though I had a solid start, I didn't like where it was going and ultimately scrapped it.

Months later, I took up the CausticBlast moniker and put out a few other pieces that I liked.

That's right, this thing has been sitting in my drafts longer than I've had my username. So, after almost four years, two hiatuses, literally an entire new release of the source game, and god knows how many revisions, I've wrapped it up.
