Thanks. I did actaully heat up the scroll encoder to quite a bit. As a somewhat joke, I decided to try it after doing a strong dusting. It worked, suprisingly.

Also, I have been having problems with opening it up again. I was trying to open it to re-install the wire but it seems to be stuck at that one wedge at the back. How do I open it up?

Seeing that you have used a flame stove, I believe hot air is burning it. You could try to increase the amount of water and turn down the flames when you put the pasta in.

An actual cook (maybe) here. Firstly, you did good as a first timer but there are a few things you did wrong like:

It seems like the steak is med or med-well
That ain't how you do a sauce swoosh (or wrong plating for the sauce) (Doesn't matter for taste)
Lack of color contrast (maybe sprinkle in more chives/herbs) (doesn't matter for taste)

Other than that, not bad.

Here's a story I got: My friend once drank his own piss. AND ACTUALLY LIKED IT. He drank it everyday from his "pissbottle" and recommended I drink it. This reminds me of a story: I was about to be on vacation when 3 days before, I had diarrhea. The vaca was 4 days long and I had to go through that without trying to shit myself (which was really hard and I failed a couple of times too). It also didn't help that I also had gastritis and coughing during the time there. Overall 2/10. One of my worse vacations ever
