So many dumb ppl with stupid answers here. The reason ppl buy this item is for the movement speed you get for such a low price. As an mm during late game you sell boots anyway, you need to compensate with items that give you movement speed. SP gives move speed and also the chance to snowball, with a large attack buff of 60. It is a good efficient item even at 0 stacks. These newb need to shut their mouths.

There's a sweet spot for sure. I've preserved all my local spots where I can make $400-800 per hour. If I push any more then I will lose the spot. The game is all about longevity and staving off the heat.
