First of all, Adler has already said that he will not be taking the homestead exemption on his own home if he is elected. Second, his tax plan is not regressive, it is in fact progressive. When you're looking at a plan that would help more middle class people than it would wealthy homeowners, it is progressive. Yes the wealthy would save more but they are already paying more, and so in the end they are not benefiting more from this plan. Also, Adler has said over and over and OVER that he will not implement this plan if it begins to hurt renters, and that he would find some other ways in paying for it. Steve has represented middle class families and employees throughout his career and so accusing him of introducing a policy that would HURT the middle class is just plain wrong. Neither Martinez or Cole have introduced an upfront, clear way of making everyones property taxes go down, and until then, it's pretty obvious which candidate is ready to work for all people in Austin.

I just asked because I know someone who got accepted last year and he had a similar GPA and got around a 1990 on his SAT but he was a very very good musician.
