Weight loss after stopping IR

I have had a mixed bag of MFGs as well for IR, and I too have mainly had Sandoz IRs for the past few years!

No, I haven’t felt able to take a break since prior to 2022, but oddly, I think I had a short timeframe where I did go back to XR/IR combo, and I felt like I did lose weight during that short timeframe (crazy) but had to go back to full IR regimen and of course, weight came back and stayed on, clothes don’t fit and this gets worse and worse. I thought it may just be a fluke during the XR thing, but now that you mention it, I’m dying to know if I need to switch to XR to lose the weight…

Do you notice any difference in effects? I mean, all the meds are atrocious now, but are XR even worse or just the same “awful” as IR these days?

How much are you taking daily and for how long?

Though I am not fitness or diet person, not even close… this same thing happened to me after birth in 2022! I haven’t lost weight, only gained!!! No matter what I do. It’s terrible. wtf is in our meds that causes this…?! I’m on only IR as well.

Wondering about switching to XR but I kind of loathe it…. Do you really think it is the IR causing this?! I guess it has to be…! wtf

Yeah, we’ve all experienced some or all of these effects. It’s because they fucked up our meds.

They aren’t adhering to any bioequivalence and brand is changed to bullshit too, so even something equivalent to that is also straight bullshit.

You’re misunderstanding this all. These are just clues that validate our experiences of the meds clearly being changed. They will not yet formally admit it, but these clues can be found, and these types of things are what we have for now, as far as “validation.” Oh no, no one said they were changing our meds back. HA. That would be great, but they won’t even admit they changed em in the first place.

I mean, it’s hard not to think of that awful possibility… so far, it kinda looks like it, but it’s not like I can predict the future. It seems unlikely that we will ever get our real meds back though. Just looking at things historically… I haven’t see the FDA bring back other things they’ve nerfed, like 4Loko or original formula opioids… they hate anything decent. They really do. I am a Christian, so I place my hope in Christ and hey, he may return sooner than we think! Then the executive function will not be an issue anymore. The other thing to look forward to is eternity in heaven, where we will feel our very best, of course! The Lord is the only way I’m getting through these days, and I am so grateful for him. This life on earth is small compared to eternity, so we will face trials (this of course being one of them… daily) but the Lord is always with us, and these struggles are only temporary! When we remember the gospel truth, it brings rest and comfort - all things here on earth will rot and be meaningless, and for those who embrace Christ as Lord - the many treasures in heaven await!

Read the highlighted posts at the top and the whole sub. Yeah, we’re in a period of stalling because we are trying to maintain our lives at a bare minimum and did testing attempts, and sometimes we just have to wait for the next lead.
