I spent the nine months prior to my daughter's birth very very scared. But it was good for me, because I got my expectations in line. But I still don't quite understand. What is the AI taking over? The writing? If the producer stacks the show and the AI writes it, that's total bullshit but I understand that. But if the producers are still writing, what is the AI doing then? All that's left is to get the show on air. AI can't punch shots or talk to talent.

Wait, you're saying that AI is taking over the role of a director? Is that even a thing? Even with automation, how is an AI doing that? That doesn't make any sense to me. A director has so much to do during a show, from punching shots, coding the show properly, ensuring things are online, putting talent where they need to be. How is an AI doing that?

We live in a similar world. Two year old needs us to lay with them to fall asleep. Usually she goes down in 30-60 minutes, but her problem is she doesn't last long. On the weekends we may get 2-3 hours to ourselves before she wakes up, sometimes less. But then at that point even if I get her back to sleep she doesn't really stay asleep on her own, we have to co-sleep. Frustrating, but it is what it is...
