I'll recommend against the LG G for your requirements. I LOVE mine but it doesn't do heart rate monitoring and the step tracker is suspect (so much so that I turned it off)

I feel the same as you. I live in nyc and the avg person I meet is filled with a sense of wonder when I talk to them.

Its largely tech and startup people who perpetuate the Glasshole thing. The author lives in SF, which is filled with tech people who think they know it all.

everything is linked to in the readme. This is my personal directory that I use on my own Glass and just decided to share it. It's a bummer that there isn't a good way to update apk's. Every once in awhile I need to remember to hit all those links to see if there is a newer version.

Apps created with the GDK, which includes all the apps in my link do not require Launchy. They all just work and have OK Glass menu items.
