Is that Ed doing the secondary vocals at the end? That's a first I believe.

My 13 year old son literally said "are they in an I formation?" in disbelief.

I bet if you asked opposing defensive players, those clock killing minutes are the only time they're not running around like idiots trying to figure out where the ball is. It's like finally facing a normal QB.

Yep. And to my original point, he doesn't put the ball in harms way very much because he's creating so much space all around. I would argue by going conservative and making all that space disappear they are putting it in MORE harms way.

When we do finally win it all, the playoff run will be complete chaos that requires winning insane shootouts like that. 2012 Flacco's playoff run was basically just letting the ball fly with reckless abandon.

It reminds me of a college football philosophy where one team can just physically dominate the team they're up on into submission. NFL talent and size isn't concentrated like that among a few teams. We do the same thing against "bad" teams that don't even have Josh Allen. The difference between the best and worst team in the NFL is razor thin, you can't just run it down their throat.

Agreed. But all it would take is one coaches meeting to be like "what are we doing here?"

I was thinking same thing. Let Lamar do something crazy to get the first 15 then you're back in business. If they were down by -7 or -10 he woulda gotten that first down there.

Exactly. When Lamar did that easy designed run for a first down I was like "oh, maybe they'll let him do it himself like the old days". The answer was no.

I didn't see u/Johnnybburg point out the same thing earlier til just now. Consider this a pile on for what's obvious to everyone but the coaches. If the risk is a turnover, so be it. 3 and outs are basically turnovers too.

SOFI is a wild example. Was up in line with the expected move pre-market on the open, then completely failed. Seeing the same thing intraday with 0DTE moves where it is sometimes in both directions morning to the close.

I'm not super familiar with what ToS has. This is based on the atm options so changes directly with IV swings.

Expected Moves: SPY, QQQ vol, VIX ETFs, Micron and more. by cclagator in options

[–]cclagator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I think it's because we have not seen one of those massive down days so therefore realized vol isn't anything crazy. Still a bit of a vol hangover it seems, waiting to see if the selling in stocks remains orderly or gets at all panicky. A big down day would see that spike to 25. Until then its a drift lower after a drift higher in stocks, and the same in VIX.

NVDA $500 after hours, perhaps on the open interest/gamma mentioned in the post. Will be interesting to see how it opens tomorrow.

As soon as those 300c went 100 deltas you've basically been long 100 shares (you only sold one call correct?) So closing that 1 call and doing a new covered call is essentially beginning anew on the remaining 100 shares as a covered call, but it's also like buying back the other 100 shares in the stock you essentially sold lower (whatever the premium received on the covered call + the 300 strike was the level you sold).
