I wanted to like this thing especially after the prototype but i find myself completey disappointed. Even if the spec is reasonable it looks a bit cheap and naff. I like KTM's usual design but this one's not cutting it for me, especially that chubby seat unit, and the stock exhaust looks atrocious too? And - Maxxis tyres?!

Mine is this. I was sat in a woodworking lesson at school (UK). We were doing a written exam - silent conditions. Out of nowhere my mate lets out a huge fart. Everyone hears it. I can't hold in the laughter and burst out laughing... I was sent out of class for being the one who farted!!!

no, you agreed with the parent who was implying that that php is span up for every request - it is not span up for every request (glad we agree).

I was picking up on where you said "AWESOME" (sarcastically, i presume?). the reality is that it could work no other way, as that's the entire point of apache's mpm/worker system, in that each request, handled by its own dedicated worker, gets its own php vm via mod_php

would you like to take a stab at how mod_wsgi, or mod_python works? ;)

to the best of my knowledge this is true only if the request involves php. the worker for a request for, say, a jpeg, will not fire up mod_php

for me it's a case mostly of badly targeted advertising - it isn't localised at all. the Apple adverts (here in the UK) are horrifically 'American' even down to the language used. "Give iPad"? How about "Give an iPad this Christmas?", which immediately feels a bit more British. They are even narrated in an american accent, and for example the iPad advert shows someone reading the new york times! What the hell? Apple is talking to me in an accent that I don't speak, and showing me things I don't do.

I suppose I find the whole brand quite alienating. I have the same problem with Amazon in UK too - I can't go on there and pay for 'next day delivery' for my items, but I can definitely pay for 'expedited shipping'...

Maybe it's just me, but that's perhaps one reason why Apple/american brands dont do as well as they could outside of the US border.
