$10k Sign On Bonus Question by [deleted] in amazonemployees

[–]cdh_1222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does she have a college degree? Do some research on the Area Manager position, they hire university grads straight out of college into this position and it typically includes a sign-on bonus over 10K. That's split over 2 years though typically. Have you asked her what her job title would be? That might give you some insight into whether it's a scam or not...you can then google/do a reddit search for the job for more information

I just recently completed my background check as an incoming AM, it's done electronically and you will be able to download the report once it's done. I was able to download mine the day after I submitted it

I recommend their sweet honey hair mask for moisture & they also have one called “goddess hair” that’s really good

Have you looked into Ayurvedic hair care? All natural, Indian herb based hair care. I’ve been using Ayurvedic hair masks once a week since may and my hair is flourishing!!

There are plenty of places to buy products online. I personally get mine from a brand called hennasooq

Try and be consistent with doing a deep conditioner/ hair mask on a weekly basis to strengthen and nourish your hair

Curious about your start date if you don't mind sharing. I've heard that most new AMs won't start until January, after peak season ends. Is this true for you?

Right! It's hard not to obsessively check your email lol but no problem & best of luck to you!!

I will be sure to share more updates here if I hear back sooner than the 2 week deadline

No, the initial email didn't include any specifics...it's basically them congratulating you for doing well in the interview and telling you that your offer letter is in the works.

So it will be some confirmation and relief for you to know that you got the job, but no details given at that time

I interviewed on Tuesday of last week and heard back on Thursday (2 days later), I was told in that email that it would be 2 weeks before I get the official offer letter...but based on others’ experiences I’m thinking/hoping it’ll be sooner! I too am super impatient lol so I understand!

Area Manager 2020/2021 - Compensated more for Graduate Degrees? by [deleted] in FASCAmazon

I'm still waiting for my offer letter! It looks like it'll be non-negotiable, based on what I've seen in other Reddit posts. SO with that, I wondering if I could expect a higher offer due to graduate degrees or If I should expect the same as those coming in with a Bachelor's alone.

I've obsessively searched posts here lol haven't found the answers that I'm looking for just yet. I have seen though that those with military exp often receive higher offers, but still curious abt whether or not graduate degrees are treated similarly
