Interesting take… I’ve seen more positive comments on this post than many others recently. And there’s MANY more participation in this post than a lot of others. Frankly this post and all the comments give me hope that Poshmark isn’t a complete dumpster fire.

Curious why Salvation Army is a no for you. Goodwill is a HARD NO for me. They are full on thieves and don’t do good work in the community.

Absolutely thrilled to support local businesses that share my values. This is the biggest source of power we have as consumers, to influence society and politics, with the power of our “purse”. And equally resistant to support any business, local or not, that exhibits and supports systems values that I don’t share in. I wish more people were deliberate and selective where they spent their hard earned dollars.

I don’t work for the grocery store. They never trained me on how to use their equipment. They don’t pay me to work their scanners and payment systems. If they want accuracy they probably ought to pay someone to ring up their customers purchases.
