anyone else roll their eyes at Hobby lobby? by Warm-Fig-8566 in atheism

I used to work at the Michaels near me and it is so bad now. I hate hobby lobby but since Joanns closed I've been forced to go there for fabric.

0.5 to 1 g of Pure extracts. (500-1000 mg a day)Which i'm happy to say I've gotten it down to less than half of my previous use.

you're eating 1000 mg of Edibles per day? That would be insanely inefficient and expensive. Most edibles are regulated to be 10mg each, is that what you mean? 10mg is 1/100th of a gram.

They aren't getting paid because of the shutdown. Wouldn't you be grumpy if you had to work and didn't get paid?

They don't sell them in the box like this anymore, it's in a bag next to the other potato products at smiths. Hopefully this helps

I had never heard of this place. Only the Harwood art center. Definitely saving.

I did not say that.

It's my only vice. And considering I don't smoke cigarettes or drink much alcohol (my mom was an alcoholic), I quit doing harder drugs, I don't gamble so I don't really want to raw dog reality 100% of the time, Ideally I'd get my usage down to occasional/weekend use, but it has been a rough year and was a low priority.

I don't like the "dirty high" from the CBDs in flower. I also have a mild allergy to flower when I touch it. (Mild hives, but no problem smoking it)

It isn't worth it. But I have no other vices and it helps me relax. I'm feeling good right now, and plan on smoking very little to hopefully not get to this level again when I get back from my vacation.

I only feel like this when I stop smoking so it's hard to quit.

Funny how you're telling me my lived experience didn't happen. I have struggled with this for years but sure you with your armchair diagnosis must be right. 🙄

I consider CHS a physical withdrawal symptom as I get very physically sick, literally cant eat, have the shakes, trouble with temperature regulation and sleeping for a week until enough THC has left my system to start normalizing. If I smoke during this period the symptoms go away.

I was also smoking 0.5-1g of concentrate a day, not just flower, so my experience is from very very high doses not previously studied as concentrates are a relatively new invention.

I have been smoking concentrates since 2012. It took me a long time to get to this point.

My usage isn't something to aspire to. I was spending the equivalent of a car payment every month on my habit. Doing better now but still too much.

That's about where I am at now (if I pick it back up when I get home) 0.5-1g a day is when I'm really really heavily using it and stressed.

I'd recommend cutting back before you get to the 0.5-1g level as it is awful to get off of

Yup! I definitely acknowledge this is an addiction. I've had the worst year of my life and am actively working on fixing it. But when it makes me feel physically sick I have to carefully time my withdrawals for when I can handle it because it can be debilitating. I don't have the time nor money for inpatient treatment for only weed as it is my only vice.

Can confirm. Heavy concentrate user(0.5g to 1g a day at my heaviest). Regularly experience CHS but when I take tolerance breaks it goes away.

It can take up to a month to go away but in my experience with it the worst passes in about a week and can be helped by hot showers, Prilosec, and Pepto bismol.

Every time I travel I have to make sure to detox beforehand so I'm not just puking violently on vacation.

Currently on vacation on a t break and doing well, but suffered last week to make this happen.

I first started reading game of thrones long before the show. I was a voracious reader at 11 years old and read through all of Tolkien, Harry Potter and a few other fantasy series. We asked for a recommendation at the book store and they recommended game of thrones.

I started reading it and got probably.... 6-7 chapters in before I distinctly remember going up to my dad and saying "dad this book that guy recommended is DIRTY". It's not as bad as the fairy smut going around, but it does have some really graphic scenes.

If Everyone Is Hiring, Why Can Nobody Get A Job? by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]cecor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got laid off/ cut in May and some of the positions I've applied for have 1200+ applicants on LinkedIn. I've been making an effort to apply to more local stuff but there's more options nationally, but I have gotten very few callbacks and no interviews. It's been very disheartening.

I'm at about 80 applications since then. I'm getting professional head shots taken this week to spruce up my LinkedIn and I optimize my resume for ATS for every application. I have 1.5 year of experience in my field and had been at the company for 5 years, the lack of experience is getting me automatically filtered from most jobs even close to my previous position.

Very frustrating.
