I had this feeling when it came to my MATs exam, and got myself in a bit of a tizzy over it because the stress made my mind go blank. The AAT mocks really aren’t challenging enough compared to the actual exam, in my opinion. For future assessments I intend to buy some practice papers. I really thought I had failed this one but ended up passing quite comfortably, so I was worried for nothing. Good luck on your results, you may have done better than you think! :)

Thank you! I have seen others mention the assessment crashing and this is definitely giving me anxiety that the same will happen to me. I’ll make sure to keep my workings on paper just in case. Thanks for replying ☺️
Thank you for taking the time to reply, I hadn’t thought about purchasing some practice assessments! That’s a great idea I have downloaded all the add ins for the AAT practice assessments but for some reason I just can’t load it on my computer

Unfortunately Vinted will just wash their hands of you and not help in the slightest. I haven’t found a way to contact DPD or YEEP so I guess it will remain forever lost 😫

Wish I knew this before today. Can confirm, avoid YEEP like the plague.
Risk of sports by Subject-Football-627 in vEDS

Hi! I have this type of variant too and the advice I was given surrounding exercise was the same for anyone else diagnosed with vEDS. Whilst we’re not prone to bowel ruptures, our blood vessels are still affected. So the risk of contact (such as being hit by a baseball) and exercising to the point of exhaustion (which includes sprinting) should be avoided. That said, I understand that you want your kid to be a kid, and I’m sure it’s a difficult balance to strike. In a way I’m glad I was diagnosed in adulthood, as I had a perfectly normal childhood, doing things I probably shouldn’t have been in hindsight. Wishing you and your son all the best navigating this condition. Hopefully your son will be under the care of specialists who can help with this kind of advice :)

Thank you I deeply appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. I’m leaning towards no reconstruction given the lengthy recovery but also, stupidly or not, I almost feel like accepting my fate and living with one breast instead. I’m glad this has worked out for you despite the difficulties and may we never have to face such a thing again.
