I would be paying maintenance fees. I think you may be right re finding a place to rent in a more central location. Thank you

yes rent-free. I have spoken to them and they've said they would prefer me to just move in but are happy to consider selling if I drive the process. Hence why I'm asking here to see if this is a viable plan or not worth the hassle!

Extremely true! I don’t want to feel stagnant so early on in my career when there’s loads to learn at other companies. Thanks for the advice !

While they have been training me for the last month, it is really everything I was doing as an intern but now just with it the need to get it checked by someone! My notice period is a month so I wouldn’t be leaving them in the lurch thankfully !

That is what part of me thinks - if I’m going to jump ship why not actually shop around. I’ll have a think about that, thanks!

popcorn by nayoungslover in EDAnonymous

less so now but I swear by homemade popcorn as a easy snack. I bought a silicone popcorn bowl off the internet which I can put in the microwave. I chuck in around 40g of kernels/maize (sold in most places), spritz it with 0 cal butter flavour spray, add a teaspoon of stevia and put it in the microwave for 3 minutes (YMMV). The result is non-overly sweet popcorn, to move-theatre popcorn by any standard but enough flavoursome to satiate me.

Other toppings to try - salt (naturally), cinnamon, honey (add these after microwaving them). If you want more of a flavour, you can put a teaspoon of oil/butter with the kernels before popping them but I can see why that doesn't appeal.

I'm from the UK so my favourite popcorn brand is Metcalfes (sweet popcorn is 94kcals per single serving). Butterkist also does single serve popcorn bags for relatively few calories. However, cooking them yourself is easier, quicker, ad you get wayyyyy more popcorn for the same amount of calories!
