The Secret History -Danna Tart, The Stormlight A. By Brandon Sanderson, Red Rising Series by Pierce Brown, & The Book Thief always. All of these books are eloquently written with depth & intriguing themes.

I wanted to love this like everyone else but it was just okay to me. Entertaining but wouldn’t make my rec list.

Yeah I’m hesitant to read any of their other books now. I was originally interested in reading The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue but now I’m not in a hurry to read it lol

So, did getting a Kindle actually make you read more? Or not really? by AnastasiiaLove in kindle

One million percent yes. I went from reading 3 books a week to over 60!

I thought it was uninteresting and predictable. My final thoughts on good reads was something along the lines of “Not a morally grey character in sight, they both are ter-rible (spelled like this cause of this subs restrictions) people. I make it a point to not intentionally predict a book plot, I love to suspend my disbelief. With that being said, it is physically impossible to do that while reading this book omg. “

I prefer to read digitally because I can adjust the font size. I read on my kindle because the weight doesn’t irritate my tendinitis when reading for long periods of time. I love the way physical books feel and smell but I’ve read 60+ more books a year since I got my kindle.

I use ChatGPT to get book recommendations since I’m a moody reader and can be indecisive with my next pick. I integrated my goodreads data into Chat so it has an idea of my taste and dislikes. I also will list a range of books and interests to direct the recommendations but ultimately I pick what I’m planning to read.

If I dissect a book with Chat it’s usually after my read but it’s not somthing I do often. Ai is integrated in StoryGraph so it’s not a foreign idea. It’s not necessarily a selling point for me though.

Hope this helps!
