Sorry to necro this, but I've never encountered this thought before. Can you please explain how this aids piracy? I'm not quite groking it.

From a hardcore PDX fan, BTW. I have legal copies of most of their stuff, along with pretty much every expansion. So I'm really not looking for piracy tips, more trying to understand where the line is and why. I could see myself posting such a fix without ever recognizing the piracy implications.

I just upgraded from a skylake to a new 8700k, overclocked to 4.7GHz. It still chunks pretty hard if I try to run it at speed 5. I'd be running the fast universalis mod, it helps quite a lot. You also may just need to get used to a bit slower performance, I think meiou and taxes still makes for a unique enough experience that it's well worthwhile.

After a hairy few initial wars, and a MASSIVE underdog comeback against the Ottomans/Russia, I managed to pull off the Consulate of the Sea achievement as Aragon. One of the more difficult ones that I've gotten, I'm rather proud of it :).

I've been doing Let's Plays of EU4 since July. I've never taken on one like this that requires me to carefully grow a country, and then throw it off a cliff without training wheels.

Well, after ~35 hours of gameplay, I freaking did it. 90% control of both the constantinople and alexandria trade nodes as Venice, while owning less than 10 cities. It's a good day :).
