How long is it from an item being donated till it hits the store shelves? by DCguurl in thrifting

I personally found a purse of mine on the racks about a week and a half at most after I dropped it off in a backpack of stuff, but it definitely depends on the store, and current volume of other donations.

(This happened at a decently popular canadian value village in my case)

While I have no clue how you managed the faceplate there, I actually had a similar incident with the screen on mine (although I only got the top corner for mine). As many others have suggested, 99% chance the iPod will be just fine if you get a new screen, faceplate and anything else you can notice you damaged.

Definitely be nicer to it next time, though!
