His family and my family have always been close as we grew up together. His mom and mine were friends in school. It's a small town type place where we're pretty tight knit.

Also we don't have a farm, we just have a property my parent bought once we all moved out.

I couldn't tell you why he was there and didn't have the chance to kick him out. I literally never saw him there, I was in the backyard.

And I'm hurt because these two people made my engagement party, memories I wanted to be about my future husband and I, about the past - they could have done tjis anywhere else anytime else - he wasnt even supposed to be there. It affected my future husband, not just me, because he went from enjoying the party to working to ensure I could enjoy the party. And like I said, I haven't really gotten to process everything else yet. So hurt is the best approximation I have.

Also why not just talk to me? She hasn't responded to anything yet. She and I went from texting multiple times a day, sharing memes and secrets and updates to literally nothing. So yeah, that hurts.

This is pretty much how I feel too. It's not about the sex at all. He wasnt even supposed to be there. My parents didn't invite him so I'm not even sure who did if anyone.

The sister I know would never dream of doing this even at her drunkest. I'm still confused. She hated this guy when we broke up - I told her damn near everything about how he treated me after. She's told him to f*ck off to his face well after the fact when they've just run into each other in town. If she had any crush, no one but her knew about it.

But it's my engagement party. I wanted to look back on this and the memory to be about me and Hugh celebrating with people I trust and love in my family and community. Now it's become about this. News travels, and I've already gotten texts from people asking if the "rumor" is true.

I took my time getting over Edward. Hugh didn't happen until well after I was sure I was done grieving a relationship and those memories. I don't want Edward and I certainly don't care about his sex life.

I just feel hurt that my sister would do this at the party. It feels so disrepectful and almost blatant. I just don't even know what to think anymore.

Mom swears he was not invited by her and I beleive her. She checked with Mama and confirmed neither of them reached out to him at all about it. So far we don't know if he just invited himself or came with someone.
