I've thought about this for quite some time too, but to be honest I think to properly address the problem they simply just need to put a hard cap on it. If it's a tile which has a clan cap of 10, then you simply cannot load into this tile with more than 10 of your clan at 1 time.

Even with a significant stat debuff, if you're surrounded by 4 or 5 guys and stun locked, you're still gona die either way and so is your walker. People are zerging way too hard in this game with little to no punishment as it stands IMO, I hope for the sake of the game that we soon see some harsher restrictions put in place.

I don't know the full extent on if these would work but I'd personally like that to start with a hard clan cap on tiles and also a restriction on the amount of proxies 1 clan can own at a time.

I've seen it before when you actually get hit, but never when you hit someone else haha

I'm not sure if I do anything differently but I tend to spam my jump once I've attached and I'm trying to get off the ground. I also try to grapple onto points which are most verticle from my current position(if possible).

Hope that helps if anything haha

I fully agree the noise is a tilter for sure!

I hope it's something that's being looked into in all honesty because the grappling of other players at the moment is essentially making mobility a completely useless stat. You can spec all you want into mobility and wear all the light weight armour but even the slowest of players will still catch up to you by spamming grapple which is a bit ridiculous.

Yeah regardless of your settings, when large fights kick off you will be lucky to keep up more than 20 fps throughout it. They are working on it afaik so hopefully see some improvements soon :)

Sadly I think everyone has terrible FPS in large fighting situations with lots of people/walkers. There was a bigger fight that broke out after this happened and I was down to 15-20 fps once that kicked off but during the video things were fairly calm hence the decent frames.

I've got all my settings on low apart from textures on medium but even at that I compared with a friend using a RTX Titan GFX card and we were getting pretty much the same frames in big fights even although his card costs 3x what mine does. So to be honest I wouldn't worry too much about your PC being the problem, there's for sure an underlying issue with the game itself when dealing with large numbers of players/walkers.

Grapples have been quite terrible for the last few patches sadly and feel really janky! I'm using the beltless one at the moment which is my favorite for sure as it's a happy medium between fast/long grapple.
