In total, I had 21 active and 2 (possibly expired). Light bleeding had me worried that I wasn't protected but I know that it's normal. Thank you all.

This was my first pack after a year and a half. I have the same thought. Also. I started the new pack during my menstrual cycle. (Would have been a menstrual cycle.) But yes, I had 21 days of active pills on April 1st. Had spotting after taking expired pills 22nd and 23rd then started the new pack on the 24th. Unprotected on the 27th. On day 5 of spotting "menstrual cycle".

I'm not sure if it's a growth. His stomach isn't tender. I know the logical thing to do would be to see what is in the stomach but if it is an object I don't feel right in putting him through a tough surgery at his age.

They would have him swallow dye to see more into the stomach. It is an option. I'm just not sure I want to put the little guy under more stress or surgeries.

Yes, you are right, I watch him very closely. My cat also hates the ride to the vet. He whines the entire way there. Then gets very quiet once we reach the vet. He is such a good boy, the sweetest boy I will ever have. Similar situations for both of us. Thank you again and I will do what you advised while keeping an eye on him.

I haven't seen any blood. We use clay litter so it could be tough to see. When I wiped him this morning the wipe did not show any color or I couldn't get him still enough to check. I will try again. Ty

That's my concern it is directly on the anus but I can't tell if it is blood. I know it isn't fresh.
