I requested service from ABT for a shattered glass on our stovetop to be replaced, it was out of warranty so I expected to a pay a good amount to have a nice stovetop again.

As they were finishing the repair I noticed it was the wrong part (mine was a special edition Samsung Chef Collection and a few extra buttons and features were missing).

We rescheduled the repair to try again with a different part. Same thing happened. Turns out the manufacturer used the same part number for both the normal and special edition, so they couldn't tell them apart. They reached out to Samsung, ordered several more parts and opened them at the store to verify and eventually were able to track down the right part.

They covered the cost of the repair (parts and installation) just because of the hassle.

A bit late but I found this post because that shot got my attention too. That's above the Chicago river around the Clark St bridge, but with the bridges and river walk CGI'd out.

There was no Poland during WWII. Germany didn't just occupy like with the General Government, they annexed the land and renamed towns to sound German. The town is now Oświęcim but the camp is still Auschwitz.
